Visual factory: the shift's production on a screen above each line

Each line sees its target, its actual count and why it stopped, hour by hour. The supervisor no longer walks the floor with a clipboard to fill in the whiteboard, and management sees the shift as it happens.

Floor plan detail: screen hanging above the production line, joined by the blue line to an office desk
The screen hangs above the line; the blue line takes the same data to the office.

What it looks like in your operation

Line 3 · every hour

The supervisor walks the line, writes down the piece count and notes on the whiteboard why it stopped. Miss one hour and the whiteboard is wrong, and management finds out the next day. With the screen, the count comes straight from the machine and, when it stops, the operator marks the cause with a button.

Plant floor · any time during the shift

Anyone who walks onto the floor sees in a few seconds which line is behind its target. The manager no longer has to ask over the radio.

Production meeting · 7 a.m.

The previous shift's report is already done: parts per hour, stops with their cause and how long each one lasted. The meeting starts with the longest stops.

What we deliver

Screens above each line with target, actual and stops hour by hour, buttons or a tablet for the operator to mark the cause of a stop, the shift report and the same view on the manager's phone. Also training for supervisors and operators.

With what you already have

The count comes from the machines, counters or sensors the line already has. Where there is no automatic data, the operator records it on a tablet. We use the screens you already have on the floor or propose the ones needed.

How it starts

We visit the plant and choose one line. We run the screen in parallel with today's whiteboard for a few shifts and compare both counts with the supervisor. With your approval we move on to the other lines.

Cost and timeline

It depends on how many lines and screens there are, whether the count comes from the machine or is entered by hand, and whether the report connects to the company system. After the visit we send the scope, price and dates in writing.

How we work: scope, deliveries and maintenance

What you can see today

We do not have a published plant case yet. What you can see before deciding: in the parallel trial the screen and the whiteboard run side by side on one of your lines, and your supervisor compares both counts shift by shift.

Questions about the visual factory

What if the machine does not provide the count?

The operator records it on a tablet next to the line. When it can be read from the machine, we switch over without losing what was recorded.

Will operators understand it?

The screen shows the target, the line's actual count and the current stop, in type that can be read from a distance. Marking the cause of a stop is pressing a button.

Can it be seen outside the plant?

Yes. The manager and management see the same view on a phone or computer, with individual access.

Does it calculate OEE?

Yes, if the line provides time, speed and quality data. If one is missing, it shows what can be measured and states what is missing.

Request a plant visit

We visit the plant, review one line with your supervisor and tell you where the count would come from and what it would take.
